Serena Ching is a designer based in New York City. She received her M.Arch I degree from the Yale School of Architecture Spring of 2020. Her academic and professional endeavors center on design strategies for social equity and environmental responsibility within urban and Anthropocentric contexts. She believes her naivety, optimism, and hunger for growth are important values in architecture and life. She also believes that the process of representing, iterating, and understanding is just as important as the end product.
Born and raised in Malaysia and China, her architectural career has brought her to Chicago, San Antonio, Prague, Gothenburg, and Rome. She is a foodie, board game enthusiast, and badminton partner.
